Hello everyone,

I hope you all had a nice weekend. Unfortunately the topic of this email is not a pleasant one, but one that needs to be adressed.

On friday someone took the 426 folder off of my classroom door and left the following note "where is the review bitch'

Needless to say I was very hurt and disappointed as honestly I can't even think of one student who would write something like that, but i have realized that my regard for at least one of you was too high.

While I do not wish to punish all of you for what one individual did, I hope that everyone can unerstand that I do not deserve to, nor will I allow myself to be treated in such a manner. So as of now, review for tommorow is cancelled.
However, if the person who was brave enough to leave the note can also be brave enough to confess, then I will reschedual review for the 20th of June. If by this date nobody has confessed then again I am sorry for the 99 percent of you who did nothing wrong , but I will not be holding any review for any classes.

So I hope you can all figure this one out amongst yourselves (it was somebody in a grade 10 class be it 416, or 426) in which case I will see you all on the 20th of June.

For the person who did this, I cannot express my disappointment and disgust. While everyone is entitled to an opinion as to weather they are fond of me or my teaching style, that does not give anyone the right to be so disrespectful. With that being said, be assured that I will not be bringing this up with the administarion, the only consequence will be that you will not be permitted to be a part of the review class, so please don't punish your peers for you actions.

If you get this please notify any of your freinds who are not on my contact list, or who you think will not be checking email by tommorow morning.

This week was exam week and although it may have started off good I think it just turned sour. Don't expect the word easy, the last time I said that I failed. Instead I'll put things on a scale of 1 to 5.

French (4/5) --> French was good, there was one or two tricky questions but in all it was straightforward and the answers were staring you right in the face. I feel sorry for the late immersion, they always get harder French exams than us. It's sorta weird though since were the post immersion but I'm not complaining :)

Math (4/5) --> Math was okay. The first question scared me a bit but eventually I got the hang of it. It was the first math exam that I've done since grade 7 that I felt like I knew exactly what to do. The teacher even said that I did very well so I'll assume that that means 80% and higher. Hopefully.

History (3/5) --> Most of the multiple choice was pretty simple you just had to figure it out but the short answer part was more difficult.

Physical Science (5/5 for 416 and 2/5 for 430) --> omg physical science. The 416 part was a breeze I went through it in 45 minutes but the 430.....wow. Half the stuff I saw I never heard of in my life. Moles, I hate you. Amanda found out that some of the stuff in the exam we never learned when she saw Ashma's book with everything 416 and 430 in it. Now, I'm really scared and I have no idea what I'm getting. Even if it's 60% I will be happy because right now, I am scared to death.

Yeah I know I'm too late so what? I've been playing video games :P Not much to say, only the important gifts that I got were clothing (as usual), an HMV gift card for 50$ so I'll probably be buying the Gorillaz cd, and two gamecube games that I'm becoming addicted to: Prince of Persia: Warrior Within and Soul Calibur 2. Prince of Persia is wicked, the action is amazing and the way you can kill bad guys is so cool and so bloody. Apparently there's a control where you can change the blood to sand but that's not gonna happen :) The Prince looks a lot like that guy from the Lord of the Ring, Legolas I think his name is. Soul Calibur 2 is a lot better than some fighting games I've played. The tricks the characters can do are awesome, Nightmare's my favourite cause of his huge sword and Talim (sp?), omg " I am one with the wind" what the hell?! I laugh at whatever these people say. Oh ya there's two women can't remember their names right now but they need breast reduction surgery. And the eyeball guy, Charade, weird, and Raphael the dancer, is.... well.....a dancer, but a lot of the guys need shirts. I borrowed Wind Waker from my brother's friend and I love it. The graphics are amazing and the characters with their little feet....aww! The fact that Link never talks really annoys me. Say something for once! When he was in this barrel about to be catapulted to this island all you heard were grunts from him. Ya so, now back to the dreaded studying.

okay i have one thing to say: BOOBAH! yes, i finally got to see the show named after those cute n cuddly little toys from the U.K. It was weird. First of all, they're "Magical Atoms of Energy" as described in the info box on my satellite. There's 5 of them and they all have these huge saucer eyes that go right, then left, then look straight at you and it's a little freaky. The show started with the Boobahs in cradles shaped like spoons, their heads in their bodies like turtles. Then POP one by one each one comes out of its furry shell and fly up into the air holding hands. It cuts to a scene with the purple one starting to bounce to the right then to the left and the rest of the Boobahs join in this little sock-hop. I'm telling you when I saw this I laughed like crazy. Their big bellied bounced up and down as they jumped. I said to my brothers that they're so big because they eat children. Anyways after that we were shown human beings being called mother, father etc. The two that I remember are Mr. Man and Ms. Lady. Very creative. Mr. Man was trapped behind a wall and tried to get through but couldn't. Then Brother and Sister came and helped the Brother get over the wall to Mr. Man. It went on like this until finally yellow doors magically appeared and they went through them. Then the Boobahs did another pointless dance, got back into their cradles and the show was over. Who was the lucky guy that thought up a show like this? and how in the hell did he get it on the air? and then how did he get it syndicated around the world? This show is stupider than the Teletubbies and at least they could talk. What education do you get out of it? I don't even see a child enjoying it and yet its such a popular toy that there are now toys for it. Is this what television is coming to? Pointless shows that are easy and cheap to create (I'm referring to reality tv as well). Watch CBC Kids in the morning and you'll get: Doodlebobs, a children rock group that sing pop, The Save-Ums, small is powerful for these savers of trivial things like the pool won't fill, Rollie Pollie Ollie, people made of geometrical shapes and many more shows that are dumbing the children of Canada. There are some good educational shows like Sesame Street and unfortunately we don't have enough of those. Emmy nominations came out today and people were shocked that only three of the 5 desperate housewives were chosen and CSI, CSI:MIAMI and CSI:NY were not nominated AT ALL (its only like the most popular drama on tv, even the repeats are in the top 5. are they blind?!) TV today is not as good as it used to be and I still wanna kill CHUM for its new creation RAZOR but hopefully a change will happen in the fall. My favourite show this summer is Veronica Mars I'll talk about it in another post.

.......Well not really a working job but it’ll look good on a resumé. The Boy that’s staying with us for the summer for reasons that are unknown to me (hence the new title above “Summer of Secrets”) goes to camp and his grandmother asked me that if I sent her grandson to and from camp (it’s in Côte-des-neiges) she’ll pay me. I started Friday and I don’t know when it will end and I don’t even know how much I’m going to be payed. Hopefully it’s a good amount but I’d make so much more money if I had a job. My mom says I should’ve went job hunting since March. Yeah thanks for telling me that now! So I’m going to go job hunting in August since I want a job before school starts. And then I could finally get that mp3 player so I don’t have to listen to all of my downloaded songs on the computer.

I'm starting a new book called Eragon and it's really interesting. There's a whole map of the world and a glossary explaining the crazy words the author created. He was only 15 when he started writing the book and its so complex!

About my plan for math --> I'm going to take a 436 course next summer. I could take a 426 course but I'm still not sure whether I want to get into Sciences in CEGEP. I was one of the best biology students in my class (came in second on the bio exam) and integrated science was a breeze in grade 7 and 8. And now for grade 10, Physical Science...... I'll keep my options open but I'm really leaning to Journalism since I think that I'm getting used to writing (thx zaphiratos) and I know I'll be in enriched english next year. And I'm not doing the LHA newspaper thingy because no offense but a bunch of white paper stapled together is not my thing. This school really needs an actual website.

I woke up june 30 to a new channel on my satellite called RAZOR! which so far really sucks and has the stupidest schows on the planet. Who still watches Dawson's Creek? Buffy the Vampire Slayer? Roswell? It's all CHUM's fault. And here's the explanation: MTV International was in partnership with Craig Media to produce MTV Canada. In Craig Media's contract it said that if they were ever bought by a company they would have to terminate their contract. Well, CHUM bought Craig Media so, no more MTV Canada. And they did it on purpose too. CHUM owns Much Music, Much More Music etc. and they don't like competition. When MTV Canada first started they played a lot of music. Then CHUM went to the CRTC (which I hate since they all care about canadian content even though nobody watches canadian shows) and complained that MTV Canada was a "youth lifestye" channel not a music channel so CRTC said that their programming was only allowed 10% music. SEE, CHUM HATES COMPETITION! MUCH MUSIC VS. MTV CANADA! THEY DIDN'T WANT THAT! So now MTV Canada is gone and were left with the CHUM made crappy RAZOR that airs old tv shows and isn't all that good. Luckily, MTV said that they had plans for Canada in the future and they will announce them in a few weeks. I WANT MY MTV! I WANT MY TRL, MY TRUE LIFE, MY MADE, MY SUPER SWEET SIXTEEN, MY SORORITY LIFE, MY BREAKOUT, MY MTV CRIBS, MY PIMP MY RIDE, MY PUNK'D AND MY MTV SPECIALS!

Calm down now....

I went to the Carifiesta today with Amanda and it was a lot of fun. The only two people I saw from school was Justin and Melissa but that was okay. Some people dressed properly, some slutty and some really slutty. There was this one woman in pink shorts that were riding up her ass and a pink tank top with a cowboy hat. When we left we walked up China Town but we didn't buy anything.

LIVE 8 was sometimes good and sometimes boring but its a good cause. I couldn't wait for the canadian part to end so I could see better performances in London, Paris, Philadelphia, Tokyo and Berlin. Now I'm off to sign that petition so I could get Paul Martin off his ass and help those poor countries. And I need to find me a white band.

Yeah of course I needed a banner to say that it's friends only! If you wanna join me and my band of Black Eyed Peas n' Friends just hollabacka at me alrite!

I was so nervous today. I finally decided to give that application in and I though it would go very bad but it actually went well. The manager asked me to change my times since it was impossible to employ me for such a short time. But I'm thinking of not working on the weekends since I still need to have my sanity. The actual interview is on Tuesday at 5:00 with this guy named Mike. Wish me luck! Oh and I finished my two poems too for english so now all I have left is french and math to worry about!

Today was weird. My mom thought we had school today and when she saw me and my brother she was shocked. Later that day I started studying Module 5 and 1 for Geography and I got this big headache. A sign that my brain is not ready for the sudden shock of exams. And since this year they're all taking place in the gymnasium, it's gonna be very intimidating with 300 other grade nines taking the same exam as you. Tomorrow is probably going to be math day unless I decide to finally send that application to McDonalds that has been sitting in my room for a week.
